Hi. I'm Mr Puttle, and the photograph of me on the left was taken when I was second grade student many years ago. And the reason I put that photo there is to remind be of the local boys and girls who gave me my name, "Mr Puttle". You see, I didn't create Puttle thinking that boys and girls were going to be the ones who had the most fun playing Puttle, but that's exactly what happened. Actually, people of all ages have fun playing Puttle but it seems to be that the children have the MOST fun. For the past two years, I've given free demonstrations at the Emmaus Farmers' Market during the warmer months and who should be my largest clientele? Why the children, of course! So, thanks for playing and putting the Puttle stickers on your bikes and skateboards.

If you don't mind, I'll mention a few things about myself. I'm a parent of two wonderful children, am the art director of Armchair General magazine, play golf in the summer and hockey in the winter because I live in Pennsylvania and I don't like playing golf in the snow. The photo on the right, also taken a number of years ago, shows me helping my younger brother work on his early hockey skills. He is now taller, stronger, faster and is able to clean my clock on the ice. I always want him on my team.

As I designer, I've come up with other product ideas, but Puttle is the simplest one and I thought I'd have some fun bringing this to market. And that is true. I created Puttle for golfers, like myself, because we're ALWAYS trying to a better golfer and post a lower score, and one of the best ways to be a better golfer is to be a better putterer (I'm not sure that's even a word.) So, even though kids really like playing Puttle, golfer really NEED Puttle to help them (myself included) establish the confident rhythm to their putting stroke. A key ingredient to success on the greens.

If you've had the chance to play Puttle, you will quickly realize that the game is just like golf, where the lowest score is the best score. Simple enough. But I guarantee, even the best golfer will find a certain challenge to the game. But Puttle will also add benefit to their golf game in the process.

Because Puttle is a simple game, it has been incorporated into a number of local fundraisers within my community. I've helped raise money for the local blood bank, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, local fire departments and historical societies.

If you have the chance to participate during the inaugural PUTTLE TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP to be held this coming March 20 at the Allentown Brew Works location, you won't be disappointed. Maybe in your score, but not with the beer.

Thanks,
Mr Puttle
