![]() The Lehigh Valley Puttle Open and Winter KidFest 2012 is as simple as the game itself; for children and their families to have some indoor fun while helping to raise funds for their local schools and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Lehigh Valley. Puttle® is an fun, simple, but competitive putting game anyone can play, especially children. The Puttle Open consists of two levels of competition. Children and adults can compete in the $1 per game category, whereby the winner will receive a Puttle Game in both the Golfer and Non-Golfer category. All entry fees will be donated to the school/district of your choice. Children and adults may also compete in the $5 per game category, whereby $2 of the entry fee is donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Lehigh Valley, $2 will become part of the winning prize money, with $1 to cover event costs. Winners of The Puttle Open, in both Golfer and Non-Golfer category will win half of the prize money, a Standard Puttle Kit and the perpetual award of “The Tankard”, a 32 oz pewter beer stein (see lasts year's winners below holding the coveted trophy). All Puttle players will be included in a raffle drawing for a $50 gift certificate to the Brew Works. Additional vendors will be on hand to offer games and products suitable for children of all ages. Additional games may be offered as well. Hot dogs, chips and sodas will be available on site. The Lehigh Valley Puttle Open and Winter KidFest 2012 will start at noon and conclude competition at six o’clock, Saturday, March 17, 2012. The competition during the festivities included over 30 entrants with their the proceeds donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of the Lehigh Valley.
